Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about Chaotic Tracker, rules validation, and account policies.
General & Platform Information
What is Chaotic Tracker?
Chaotic Tracker is a digital companion, card catalog, and tactical deckbuilder suite engineered for players of the Chaotic Trading Card Game (TCG). It provides strict tournament deck validation, rolled stat collection tracking, and personal match history analytics.
Is Chaotic Tracker affiliated with the official owners of Chaotic?
No. Chaotic Tracker is an independent, non-commercial community project built under fair use for educational, tactical, and reference purposes. Chaotic and all related names, artwork, symbols, and logos are trademarks and intellectual property of their respective rights holders.
How much does Chaotic Tracker cost to use?
All core platform capabilities—including the full 1,380+ card catalog, the strict rules-enforced deckbuilder, up to 20 saved decks, collection inventory management, and match history logging—are 100% free forever. An optional Pro tier ($4.99/mo max) will be available for power users seeking advanced search syntax, unlimited deck slots, and custom scanner skins and more.
Deckbuilding & Game Rules Engine
What rules does the Deckbuilder validate?
Our rules engine enforces the full official Chaotic tournament deck construction standards:
- Creature Army: Triangular 6v6, 3v3, or 1v1 battleboard configurations. (10v10 may be added in the future)
- Battlegear & Mugic: Exactly 1 equipped Battlegear and Mugic card per creature slot.
- Attack Deck: Exactly 20 attack cards with a strict total maximum Build Point (BP) limit of 20 BP.
- Location Deck: Exactly 10 location cards.
- Copy Limits: Max 2 copies per card title, max 1 copy for "Unique" cards, max 1 copy total for "Legendary" cards, and single-tribe loyalty constraints.
Can I export or share my decks with friends?
Yes! You can mark decks as Public to generate shareable links, import and export standard decklists via text
Collection Inventory & Rolled Stats
How does the collection manager track rolled stats?
Chaotic cards feature variable stat envelopes on printings (Energy, Courage, Power, Wisdom, Speed, and Mugic Counters). Our collection tracker allows you to record your exact rolled numbers, foil varieties, and variant tags for every card in your physical binder.
Why does Chaotic Tracker not store card portal activation codes?
To protect the security and integrity of physical card collections, Chaotic Tracker strictly does not store, request, or publish physical 12-character online portal codes. The collection tool is designed purely for inventory, rolled stat optimization, and deckbuilding.
Account Governance & Moderation
What is your content moderation and profanity policy?
Chaotic Tracker enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against vulgarity, profanity, hate speech, and harassment.
Any attempt to bypass, trick, or circumvent automated content filters—including through deliberate misspellings, or substitute characters in usernames, display names, or public deck titles—will result in immediate and permanent account ban and data deletion without prior notice.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can permanently purge your entire account and all associated decks, collection records, and match logs at any time via the self-service Delete Account button in your Profile Settings.
Pro Subscriptions & Billing (Optional)
What benefits are included with the Pro Tier?
Pro members receive unlimited saved deck slots, the Advanced Query Syntax search engine (e.g., courage:>70 tribe:overworld), tabletop proxy print export, CSV collection tools, and a 100% ad-free experience. Social-facing perks (like featured profile decks or public badges) are deferred until public player profile discovery is live.
How do I manage or cancel my Pro subscription?
All subscription billing is handled securely via Stripe. You can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal link inside your Profile Settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the active billing period.
